 Mukand Lal National College (MLN College)

 Established in 1955 by visionary & educationalist Seth Jai Prakash in memory of his father Seth Mukand Lal, MLN is a government-aided private college of science & commerce. Including being affiliated with Kurukshetra University, it is declared a college with potential for excellence by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Also, it is the only College in Haryana to be awarded this distinguished position and is also accredited by Tata Consultancy Services.

 MLN campus is located at Model Town, Yamunanagar. Being in the heart of the city, it's located 180 km from Delhi and 120 km from Chandigarh. Considered one of the oldest Institutes of Chandigarh, it is situated at almost 20,000 square meters and contains all the modern facilities.

 Courses offered are BA – Rs.9,065 (1st year), B.Com – Rs.22,645(1st year), BBA – Rs. 39,140 (1st year), B.Sc. – Rs. 25,645 (1st year), BA{Hons.} – Rs. 9,065 (1st year), M.Sc. – Rs.39,745 (1st year), MA – Rs.8,188 (1st year).

 MLN also offers various PG and UG programs in 25 departments. Therefore for the PG program, the applicant must hold a graduation degree, whereas, for UG, they must have completed secondary school. The admissions are strictly merit-based, and the application mode is offline.

 

Mehr Chand Mahajan Dayanand Anglo Vedic College for Women (MCM DAV), Chandigarh

MCM DAV College was established in 1968. It's a private institute, most known for commerce courses. This College is founded by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. Moreover, the College is approved by NAAC and is affiliated with the Punjab University. Apart from commerce courses, it also offers courses in BBA, with fees amounting to Rs.31,820 (1st year), MA – Rs.20,060 (1st year), B.Sc. –Rs. 37,200 (1st year), M.Sc. – Rs. 22,900 (1st year), BA – Rs.20,040 (1st year), as well as PG Diploma – Rs.24,490 (Total Fees).  

 

The College also offers courses in computer applications, mass communications, and management streams. Companies like Kotak Mahindra and ICICI Bank are known to recruit from the campus.

 Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak

 Ranked #28 in the NIRF 2021 list of top management colleges in India, IIM Rohtak was established in 2009. Being one of the six baby IIMs, this College is designated with "Institute of National Importance" status by the MHRD. The courses offered by the College are IPM, FPM, PGPM, EPGPx, PT, EPGDSM, IPL, and PhD.

 This year, the College achieved 100% placements and a 16.3% increase in average CTC. The highest CTC rose to INR 32 LPA while the average salary stood at INR 16.06 LPA. 45% of students were placed in the consulting industry, while general manager was the principal function offered during the 2022 placements. 

 Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon

Established in 1973 by the Industrial Finance Corporation of India, MDI Gurgaon is a private business school. In addition to being ranked 9th in the NIRF's top management colleges ranking 2021, the College is approved under AICTE, AMBA, and NBA. The College is well known for its PGPM program. This College offers PGM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM courses in the national management program, executive management program, PGP HRM, PGP PPM, FPM, and EFPM.

The PGDM placements recorded the highest salary package of INR1.14 crore per annum, with half of the participating batch receiving salary packages exceeding INR 25 LPA. In other words, the average salary increased by 13% compared to last year.

 National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra

Established in 2002, NIT Kurukshetra is an autonomous public technical and research university. Being credited to the status of "Institute of National Importance" in December 2008, it is considered the best engineering college in the state and is approved under AICTE.

 According to the latest NIRF rankings, NIT Kurukshetra stands at 40 for the B.Tech program. It also offers courses in MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and PhD. Also, several engineering specialization streams are being offered like a computer, civil, IT, mechanical, electrical, production, industrial, electronics and communication.
